Nikon Launches New ECLIPSE LV and MA Microscopes

News

Nikon Corporation (Nikon) has launched new ECLIPSE microscope models, the LV150NA LED, LV150N LED, and MA200 LED, to strengthen the company’s comprehensive range of industrial microscopy solutions. Following the LV100N series announced in March 2025, the new models use a high color-rendering LED light source and improve maintainability.

The ECLIPSE LV150NA LED and LV150N LED are upright microscopes designed specifically for reflected illumination, with accessories selectable to suit your observation method and purpose. The MA200 LED is an inverted microscope with reflected illumination that is ideal for inspecting industrial parts and utilizing for research and development.

Key Features

  • Improved maintenance: The newly developed high color-rendering LED light source upgrades brightness, color, and color rendering properties compared to the existing halogen source, extending lamp life from 1,100 to 50,000 hours. For the MA200 LED, space efficiency is improved by incorporating the LED light source into the microscope stand, reducing footprints by up to approximately 100 mm.
  • Enhanced usability: The microscopes offer high scalability through the compatibility of accessories between old and new products. Existing accessories can be used with the new microscopes providing extensive expandability with a wide range of accessories.
