Nikon Corporation (Nikon) is pleased to announce that the APDIS MV5X Laser Radar has received the “Good Design Award 2026” sponsored by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion. The APDIS MV5X was announced in April 2026 and is the newest addition to the Nikon APDIS Laser Radar lineup, built on years of experience and proven technology.
Designed to deliver super-fast, non-contact measurements without compromising accuracy, the APDIS MV5X combines Nikon’s proven Laser Radar technology with a compact, lightweight platform that can be deployed wherever manufacturing demands it.
The Good Design Award is a comprehensive design commendation system that is operated by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion.
