To further strengthen its local capabilities, Optoteam recently expanded its Vienna showroom with a Nikon NEXIV VMZ-S 3020 Type 2 Video Measuring System.
Enhancing Local Application Support
Previously, Optoteam relied on Nikon’s manual measuring microscopes and profile projectors for demonstrations, while more advanced application studies were supported through Nikon Metrology’s demonstration center in Düsseldorf.
To provide customers with faster access to advanced measurement technology, Optoteam invested in its own NEXIV system. The addition enables customers to bring their components directly to the Vienna showroom for live demonstrations, feasibility studies, and measurement evaluations.
This local access significantly speeds up project assessments and allows Optoteam to respond more quickly to customer requirements.
A Hands-On Measurement Experience
The NEXIV installation has transformed the Vienna showroom into a practical evaluation center where customers can experience automated optical measurement technologies firsthand.
By testing real-world applications locally, manufacturers can better understand how automated measurement can improve quality control, increase efficiency, and support demanding production requirements.
