The 6th International Conference on Tomography of Materials and Structures (ICTMS) will be held from 1-5 July 2024 in person in Cape Town, South Africa. This event will bring together an international group of scientists, from universities, research organisations and industry. The conference will discuss a broad range of issues related to the use of 3D tomographic imaging in materials and structures.
The theme of the conference is “new areas” referring to new applications for industrial tomography applications, but many new areas have been studied in hardware and methodology developments. The conference will be inclusive of all tomography related areas and an exciting program will be developed with tracks of related topics in morning and afternoon sessions, and keynote speakers covering many areas of interest. Some of these include:
- Recent advances in lab and synchrotron based tomography:
– Contrast (absorption, refraction, diffraction of X-rays, neutron or electrons)
– Spatial and temporal resolution
– In-situ experiments - Recent advances in tomographic reconstruction techniques
– Advances in algebraic algorithm
– Machine learning
– Large data processing - Recent advances in image analysis
– Segmentation & Quantification
– Digital volume correlation
– Machine learning
– Image-based simulation
Take advantage of this opportunity, where we will share our expertise and details of our latest launches!
Among them, we will present AI Reconstruction, an innovative 3D computed tomography (CT) reconstruction software solution powered by artificial intelligence that lifts the traditional trade-off between scan speed and image quality.
