7.5:1 Zoom, 115mm Working Distance and Compact Design

Ideal for failure analysis studies, defining modes of failure then verify solutions. Component surface examination, crack-detection, corrosion studies, composite materials, textiles, parts produced by machine tools for critical aerospace components or building and construction materials are all carried out easily.

Nikon SMZ745T and SMZ745

There is a huge range of applications suited to these versatile microscopes throughout materials science and industrial shop-floor production tasks.

Trinocular and Binocular Optical Heads

The SMZ745T allows both stereo viewing and digital imaging. A built in camera port with a 0.55x C-mount is included.

115mm Working Distance as Standard

The SMZ745T and SMZ745 stereo microscopes have an impressive standard working distance of 115mm before any supplementary lens accessory is fitted.

Product Highlights

7.5:1 Optical Zoom Ratio

The zoom range enables lower magnification to select a region of interest, and then zoom in to study key features at 7.5 times greater magnification.

Functional and Robust Design

A very strong build quality enables a long life of high quality performance. Special surface treatments feature on the SMZ745T and SMZ745 for extra protection.

5 Auxiliary Objectives Available

The Greenough optical system of the SMZ745 series realizes the large 7.5:1 zoom ratio providing a total magnification capability from 3.35x to 300x.
