Vertical Laser Orientation
In addition to providing greater clearance for accessories such as tactile probes, the sensor's vertically oriented laser plane helps users follow a smooth, lateral sweeping motion when measuring, reducing user fatigue and the risk of over-extending.
On-Part Visual Scanning Guidance
For simple and intuitive scanner positioning, the centre and limits of the ModelMaker H120's field of view are projected in red on the part surfaces during measurement.
Quick-Release Connector
Repeatably mount or dismount the scanner safely, quickly and easily with just one hand. Additional clearance is provided for tactile probing or for use on another portable CMM device.
Nikon Optical Expertise
An expertly crafted, bespoke, in-house designed lens enables the smallest structural resolution and lowest noise measurements in handheld scanning. It results in very sharp edges and incredible detail of surface texture and even dust, scratches and abrasions.
Thermal Compensation Eliminates Warm-Up Time
The ModelMaker H120 scanner connects within seconds and removes wasteful downtime and waiting periods before measurement, as precisely calibrated, active thermal compensation eliminates any need for warm up.
Maximum Productivity and Detail
By combining a frame rate up to 450Hz, a stripe width up to 120 mm and non-interpolated point spacing of 35μm, users benefit from high productivity and detailed measurements optimised within a single sensor.
