TOKYO – Nikon Corporation (Nikon) starts the new year with a special celebration, building momentum following the successful merger of its Digital Solutions Business Unit and Industrial Metrology Business Unit into a unified Industrial Solutions Business Unit (IDSBU). As Nikon moves into 2025, the combined strength of the IDSBU allows the company’s clients to benefit from continued innovation and opportunity.
The merger, launched eight months ago at the start of the company’s financial year, establishes the IDSBU as a key component of Nikon’s B2B operations, focusing on delivering comprehensive solutions ranging from high-quality optical components to sophisticated measurement and inspection systems.
The expanded IDSBU now serves multiple industries, with particular emphasis on semiconductor and electronics production and sectors including automotive and aerospace.
