  2. What are the best parts of your job?
The product, industry, and colleagues are the key factors that keep me firmly committed to my job. The focus is on the customer and their measurement task, which we try to solve together efficiently.
  3. Any anecdote that you would like to share with our readers?
It is great to hear from satisfied customers that they are still making full use of the NEXIV system they bought 15 years ago and, in some cases, are even using the measurement programs that I developed together with them. This shows how reliable and robust our NEXIV series is.

  4. You travel to many customer sites to provide customers with the best possible advice in collaboration with your local sales partner. What are the main benefits customers experience from using the NEXIV?
With NEXIV, our customers receive a thoroughly high-quality system for the quality assurance industry, where compromises should not be made. NEXIV stands for precision and robustness. In addition, we attach significant importance to providing our customers and partners with the best possible advice and guidance on how to use our technology most effectively. The video measuring systems manufactured in our factories in Japan, equipped with our zoom optics, offer maximum measuring precision and repeatability combined with fast measuring times.
  5. What sectors and industries can benefit from using the NEXIV systems?
In general, it can be said that we cover all sectors and industries that manufacture products with the finest structures and the smallest manufacturing tolerances. The focus here is naturally on the semiconductor industry, such as wafer manufacturing, and the battery industry, which is undergoing a breathtaking process of innovation. However, sectors such as mechanical engineering, medical technology, research, and development in general also benefit from our technology.

  6. As a Nikon Metrology Business Development Manager, what is your favorite system feature of NEXIV & why?
It is difficult to name just one feature. Taken as a whole and in terms of its ongoing development, the NEXIV is a wonderful tool that represents an investment customers will not regret. As a pioneer in the development and manufacture of optics, Nikon can fully demonstrate its strengths in this area. You will not find any other manufacturer of video measurement systems that deliver better image quality than Nikon, which is something we are very proud of. An optical measurement system inevitably requires excellent optics, and we have been delivering this for many years.
