About the Role
As an IT Network and Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and strategically developing the IT Network and infrastructure within our organization. You ensure that our systems are reliable, secure, and scalable. You will lead a team of IT professionals and collaborate with other departments to guarantee a stable and efficient IT environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies that align with business objectives.
- Manage network, server, and cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Plan and coordinate IT projects, including migrations, upgrades, and implementations.
- Oversee IT security and ensure compliance with regulations and best practices applicable to our company.
- Set up and maintain monitoring and backup systems for continuity and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders for IT solutions and contract management.
- Formulate proposals to upper management regarding budget allocations.
- Lead, coach, and develop the IT infrastructure team.
Your Profile
- A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT, Computer Science, or Network Management).
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Expertise in data center management and data governance.
- Extensive applied knowledge of operating systems, networks (LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewalls), and security principles.
- Experience with ITIL processes and project management methodologies such as Agile or Prince2 is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.
- Experience in leading, coaching, and developing an international IT infrastructure team.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
